Avenged Sevenfold

Avenged Sevenfold is an alternative metal band, formed in 1999. I’m sure if you listen their music, you will like it.

Its members are M. Shadows (vocals, keyboard), Zacky Vengeance (rhythm guitar, vocals), Synyster Gates (lead guitar, vocals), Johnny Christ (bass, vocals) and Arin Ilejay (drums), originally the drummer was The Rev before his death in 2009 and Mike Portnoy who came in to replace him, until his departure in 2010. The band started as a melodic metalcore band, which was demonstrated in their first two albums "Sounding the Seventh Trumpet" (2001), "Waking The Fallen" (2003). But for the launch of its great success "City of Evil" in 2005 evolved into a sound closer to Hard Rock, Heavy Metal and Alternative Metal, forming a large group of fans.

The band is characterized by large capacity with lyrical themes.

In 2010 was released his last and most recent album "Nightmare". This new album has gone to bring in part to the band’s original sound, metalcore.
