AC/DC are an Australian rock band, formed in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young. Although the band are commonly classified as hard rock and are considered a pioneer of heavy metal, they have always classified their music as rock and roll. To date they are one of the highest grossing bands of all time. AC/DC underwent several line-up changes before releasing their first album, High Voltage, in 1975. Membership remained stable until bassist Mark Evans was replaced by Cliff Williams in 1978 for the album Powerage. Within months of recording the album Highway to Hell, lead singer and co-songwriter Bon Scott died on 19 February 1980, after a night of heavy alcohol consumption. The group briefly considered disbanding, but Scott’s parents urged them to continue and hire a new vocalist. Ex-Geordie singer Brian Johnson was auditioned and selected to replace Scott.

Australian animals (Carlos)

hello friends of the nature today i´ll tell to you about some strange australian animals:

The kangaroo: the kangaroo looks like a big big rabbit, it is an autochthonous animal of Australia, he have a big legs, an they allow the kangaroo scroll very fast, when the kangaroo is a baby he live ina bag on the belly of his mum.

The platypus: this is a very very interesting animal he puts eggs but he was a mammal, another curious thing of the platypus is tha he have an poisonous sting on their legs.

The kookaburra: is an australian bird, he apears in the silver coins of australia. Kookaburras are carnivorous. They will eat lizards, snakes, insects, mice, other small birds, and raw meat.

The koala: he only eat eucalyptus,he looks like a teddy bear, the koala has also a bag like the kangaroo

Australian girls

I’m sure you have heard about such topics as "French girls are beautiful, Brazilian girls are even more, etc.." Well I am going to talk about the Australian girls are also very good.

To cite one example, I want to put Nicole Kidman. This girl is one of the most desired women in the world due to his actress talent and she has a spectacular body! She has a very distinct and beautiful face that not everyone can get.

FORMULA 1 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Hi everyone! Here it´s my article about the history of the F1.

         Formula 1 word championship began in 1950. At that time, Italy made the best race cars and Alfa Romeo was the most succesful team. Giuseppe Farina was considered one of the best racing drivers.

         During the 1970s, F1 became more and more popular; furthermore, it had been turned into a business for the media and advertising. Racing cars got improvements thank to technology. For this reason, in spite of being heavies, now they have more speed, segurity and resistance.

         Nowadays, big motor racing teams -like Ferrari or Red Bull- sign up great drivers, for example, F. Alonso who´s famous around the world.

Fernando Alonso Díaz

Hi guys! I will speak aboust this exciting pilot. He was born in Oviedo, a July 29, 1981. He has a sister five years older, Lorena. Since very little he knew his future would be tied to racing.

He makes the leap to the cars in 1999. The first day he gets into a car with wings, that of Gene in the Telefonica Open, he took just six laps to match the records of Catalan. A former Ferrari engineer recognised that he had never seen a talent as well! He only has an hour and a half of training every weekend. However, their progress is amazing: it is 6 th in Austria, 2 in Hungary and 1 in Belgium.

In 1995 Michael became the (at that time) youngest double Formula 1 World Champion (1994 and 1995 seasons) ever. He is also the 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 World Champion. This phenomenal record speaks for itself. His sixth title in 2003 beat Juan Manuel Fangio’s long standing record of five championships from the 1950s! Schuey announced his retirement from F1 racing at the end of the 2006 season and was retained in a consultancy role by Ferrari. However, from 2010 Michael sensationally returned to F1 racing, by signing a 3 year contract to race for the Mercedes GP team.

Michael’s last championship title in 2004 was secured before the season end, taking his total number of titles to 7. Memorably, he did this by finishing 2nd at Spa in Belgium, in Ferrari’s 700th race, to accumulate enough points to seal the deal.

Michael also holds the F1 records for: most career wins (91), most wins in a season, most career pole positions, most points during a season (148 in 2004), most consecutive world championships (5), most consecutive race wins (2004), most podium finsihes (154), most laps leading, most fastest laps (76), plus several others!

Michael was at one point the highest paid racing driver in the world and second highest earning sportsman in the world, earning a reported $80 million US in 2004 ($40m of which was his salary from Ferrari). Whilst they were both racing in F1, his younger brother Ralf was the 3rd highest paid driver in Formula 1 in 1999 and whose pay after the 2000 season was raised to US$15.5 million.

F1 Championship

Hello friends of the engine, this year the F1 word cup is very interesting, five pilots have options for win the champioship: Webber, Alonso, Vettel,Hamilton and Button.

Statistics:Webber 4 victories 5 poles ,Alonso 4 victories 2 poles, Vettel 3 victories 8 poles, Hamilton 3 victories 1 pole , Button 2 victories 0 poles.

Alonso has a good beginig of the  Championship, but he has had a downhill,but he is recovering his force and he is the second in the Championship, fourteen points behind Webber

there are another two spanish pilots in the Championship, Jaime Alguersuari and Pedro de la Rosa, but Pedro has been expulsed from his team.

This weekend will be dispputed the race of Korea,and we will only have two more races: Brazil and Abu Dhabi.
